The Futures Prop Firms I’d Actually Buy in 2026
Hi! I'm Tim — TIMB272 online. I trade Nasdaq futures in real time on YouTube every weekday morning at 9:25 AM ET, and prop firms paid me over $20K in 2025. This page answers the question I get most: the three firms I'd actually start with, ranked in the order I'd recommend them to a friend.

The short version
Where I'd start: Tradeify, on an account smaller than your ego wants. After passing a 50K Select, you can choose its Daily payout path, or you can use a Lightning account to skip the eval and start sim-funded. Learn the rules, get paid, then scale. Code TIMB272 at checkout.
How I prefer to scale: One 50K first, then three matching 50Ks copied together—not one 150K. For me, 50K evaluations have been easier to pass, and starting with one keeps the process simpler. I add accounts only after I am comfortable with one, and I copy the same planned trade only when the firm's and platform's current rules allow it. Three 50Ks and one 150K can have different fees, drawdowns, caps, and copier rules; the labels alone do not make them equivalent. More accounts multiply mistakes and losses too, so never scale with money or risk you cannot afford to lose.
A few of my Tradeify and MyFundedFutures receipts. I rank who I'd start with today, not simply whichever firm paid me first. Tap any to zoom.
| Firm | Best for | The draw | The catch | Code |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tradeify | Daily payouts, skipping the eval | Select Daily payouts, straight-to-sim-funded Lightning accounts, flexible path to live | Live review can begin after 3 payouts on one account or 10 total payouts | TIMB272 |
| Lucid Trading | Keeping costs down | 50K Flex, no consistency rule once funded, plus potential Live Bonus eligibility up to $4,500 | Instant funding plans aren't ideal compared to Tradeify | TIMB272 |
| MyFundedFutures | One lower-cost first account (Builder) or a higher payout ceiling (Pro) | Builder: no activation fee, EOD trailing drawdown, 48-hour payout requests after requirements. Pro: up to $100K per payout. | Buffers, qualifying-day requirements, payout limits, and profit splits vary by plan | TIMB272 |
The firms
Tradeify
Choose Select Daily after passing, or use Lightning to skip the eval and start sim-funded today.
- Daily payouts are the reason most people come here. I've been paid multiple times in the same week
- Want a bigger cap instead? Select Flex allows up to $3,000 per 50K account every five winning days, with no funded consistency rule
- Their straight-to-sim-funded Lightning accounts skip the eval completely, so you can be on a funded account day one
- You become eligible for live review after 3 payouts on a single account or 10 total payouts across Tradeify plans
- Watch out: those are minimum thresholds for review, not a guaranteed live transition. Tradeify still evaluates consistency, risk management, and overall trading behavior
My default pick: 50K Select if you want the clean daily-payout path. Use Lightning/instant only if you already know why you want to skip the eval.
Get Tradeify if getting paid often is the priority, or you'd rather buy a funded account than pass an eval. For most people, this is the one I'd start on today.
Lucid Trading
The budget pick, without the usual budget-firm downsides.
- My pick of their lineup is the 50K Flex. No consistency rule once you're funded on it
- Pricing is budget-friendly without the rules getting worse to make up for it
- Account options run from relaxed evals to instant funding, and the Flex rules are simple enough to actually trade
- On your first move to live under Lucid's current program, you may be eligible for a one-time Live Bonus up to $4,500 after reaching the required live profit target
- Lucid's instant funding plans are not ideal compared to Tradeify's straight-to-funded Lightning option. Take the Flex unless you know exactly why you want instant
Best Lucid pick: 50K Flex. That is the account I'd point most budget-conscious traders toward first.
Get Lucid if you want to keep costs down and still get rules you can live with. I break down which Lucid account to pick in my full Lucid review.
MyFundedFutures
My third option—backed by the largest individual payout shown on this page: $4,140.44.
- MFFU was the first futures firm that ever paid me. The receipts on this page show payouts of $4,140.44 and $1,200; the $4,140.44 is the largest individual payout shown here
- Builder: the MFFU plan I would compare first if you are intentionally opening one first account on a tight budget—low-cost entry, no activation fee, EOD trailing drawdown, and 48-hour payout requests once requirements are met
- Pro: the higher-ceiling MFFU option, with an advertised cap of up to $100,000 per payout. It is not the beginner/one-account recommendation, so compare its current rules carefully
- It has operated since 2023, giving it a multi-year history in futures prop trading
- Its current lineup includes multiple plan styles with different payout schedules, requirements, and paths toward live review
- Current deal: 50% off Rapid, Builder, and Pro through July 31. Use code TIMB272; two uses per customer
- Do not choose on price alone. Buffers, qualifying-day requirements, payout limits, consistency rules, and profit splits differ by plan
Between promos: MFFU sales are not always live. If no discount is running, use code TIMB272 at checkout to support the channel.
Why it ranks third: Builder makes MFFU especially worth comparing when you want one first account with a low upfront commitment. Tradeify and Lucid are still the first two places I would compare when their specific strengths fit you better.
Get MFFU if you deliberately want a Builder account as a lower-cost one-account start, or you understand the current Pro rules and need its higher payout ceiling.
Results: My individual payouts, not typical or promised. Past performance doesn't guarantee future results.

Lucid Trading Review: Which Account Should You Choose?
Tradeify Payout Process Explained (Step-by-Step 2026)
Which one should you get?
Want the fastest payout path, or to skip the eval entirely? Tradeify. It's where I'd start today.
Want an account that can pass in one day? Compare the current Tradeify, Lucid, and MyFundedFutures options carefully; know the current rules before choosing any account.
Want a flexible, budget-friendly account? Lucid 50K Flex.
Opening just one first prop account on a tight budget? Compare MFFU Builder first. It is 50% off through July 31 with code TIMB272 (two uses); choose the plan only after comparing its current payout and risk rules.
My own path: Start with one 50K, get comfortable and get paid, then add matching 50Ks instead of jumping to one 150K.
Stuff people ask me
Are prop firms worth it?
They've paid me over $20K, so for me, yes. But evaluations can be failed, and I've failed my share too. Only spend what you can afford to lose and treat the fee like tuition, not a lottery ticket.
Does the code save me money?
Yes. TIMB272 matches the best current discount at each firm on this page, and I keep the deals section current. If you miss a sale, another one comes around. These firms discount often.
Why should you trust me?
Fair question. I trade in real time on camera every weekday morning. Prop-firm evaluations and sim-funded accounts are simulated unless I clearly identify an account as live, so viewers can see the wins, losses, payouts, and mistakes in context. This list is what I'd tell a friend before they spend money.
