👥 Best for: same-size account groups

Tradovate Group Trade Calculator

Turn a per-account futures position into the total order quantity for Tradovate Group Trade.

How to use this

  1. Enter your stop size, planned risk per account, and how many accounts are in your group.
  2. Use the big number as the total group quantity when every account in the group has the same 1× allocation.
  3. Before you submit, verify the selected group, instrument, total quantity, and stop.

Important: This assumes every account in your Tradovate group has the same 1× allocation. It only does the sizing math; it does not connect to Tradovate or confirm your group settings.

This is not financial advice, trading advice, or a recommendation to take any trade. Always double-check the selected Tradovate group, account allocations, instrument, quantity, stop, platform settings, prop-firm rules, and your own risk before entering a trade.

Quick Guide: Why the Group Quantity Is Bigger

  1. Tradovate Group Trade sends one order across every account in the selected group.
  2. When every account has the same 1× allocation, multiply the contracts you want per account by the number of accounts in the group.
  3. Example: if you want 5 MNQ contracts per account across 5 accounts, enter 25 contracts for the group. Tradovate splits that as 5 contracts on each account.

Important: If the accounts in your group have different allocation weights, this simple multiplication does not apply. Check the Group Trade settings before you place an order.
